Sandra Varner
Founder of Varner Pr
For more than 30 years, Sandra Varner has led Varner PR, a communications firm known for shaping stories that inform, inspire, and influence. Her work spans continents and industries, grounded in clarity, credibility, and cultural intelligence.
Her career highlights include coordinating national media campaigns for the NBA and NFL, leading the $1 million COVID-19 Resiliency Relief Program for the Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce, and facilitating media training for the National Association of Black Journalists. Sandra’s portfolio extends across four continents, serving clients from the private, public, and nonprofit sectors.
A proud graduate of Southern University and member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she continues to serve on several advisory boards and community initiatives — all while amplifying purpose-driven voices and producing stories that move the culture forward.
